Batch 87 KAF is a collaborative project with our long time friend Kenny Florian with Florian Martial Arts Center and Meraki Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This kimono is dedicated to the memory of Kirk Andrew Florian who passed on 9/11/16.

It is hard saying goodbye to your loved ones but in the name of Jiu-Jitsu I feel compelled to turn something that’s difficult into a beautiful response. With the help of another type of family, Shoyoroll has helped create a unique gi that helps celebrate life, Jiu-Jitsu and that unbreakable bond. Proceeds from the sale of Batch #87 will be donated to a charity selected by Kenny.
Update from Kenny Florian January 3, 2019: My longtime supporter @Shoyoroll and I collaborated on a gi a few months ago. In memory of my youngest brother Kirk who passed on 9/11/16, we created a gi that honored his life. Because of the supportive jiu-jitsu community and passionate fans of the SYR brand, we completely sold out in a day or two. Due to this success we were able to donate $15,000 to @bridgeotw in Boston, MA and an additional $5,000 to another At-Risk Youth Charity in Long Beach CA called @power4youth I want to thank @FlorianMartialArts @MerakiBJJ and everyone who supported this project. @BearSYR & the whole Shoyoroll team, I love you guys.
